hey ppl,i'm back from orientation camp. :)
yesterday we went back to fuhua for the alumni day.
and wow there were so many ppl.
the programme's quite boring actually and they ask us to go bk only for one purpose:ask us to donate money.hehe.
but the main purpose for going back is to see ppl!
it's actually also a mass jjc student gathering.lol.
cos most of the ppl there are/were from jjc.
and they even has mass dance after the performances ended.
i think they haven't recover from the highness after the camp.haha.
jjc has SO many mass dances!that u can't even rmb.
but it's nice though.
it's so nice seeing them dance,and they dance so nicely!
most of them were OGLs of our second orientation camp.
i wanted to join them but i really suck at dancing.lol
when they were teaching us in sch,half the time i'm just turning around and around.lol.
it's the first time i went back as an alumni,other than the time when we went to collect our O level results.
it's a different kind of feeling,really special.
i miss fuhua actually,i miss sec sch life.
okay so i shall talk bout the camp now.
it's been a long 3 days 2 night.
slping at bout 12 am every night and waking up at bout 5 am everyday.
and then it's a long day full of activities,games,dances,blah blah.
damn tiring.
so the moment i came home i fell asleep.
anw,coincidentally i am in OG3 again!
and once again i'm alone in the OG,with nobody i know.
so obviously i made new friends.
and there is this person who's called charlene.so i feel so weird calling her name.
and i just realised yesterday after going bk to fuhua that one of my OGLs is from fuhua!
no wonder i thought he looked so familiar,but i don't know him at all.
and i dont't even know his name!lol.
it's been a great experience overall.
i think one thing gd bout jjc is that they let us learn how to appreciate the ppl around us.our OGLs who had been putting in so much effort,our parents,our friends and many many other ppl.
there's this emo session on the last day of the camp,before we went home.
we are supposed to thank one person we wanna thank most(but unfortunately u can't thank a person who had been thanked before,cos everyone must be thanked).
then the teacher shared his story bout his mother who had passed away,telling us to treasure and appreciate the ppl around us before they are gone.
it's really touching and a lot of ppl started crying.
then they gave us postcards and ask us to write something to our parents,and they will mail it to them for us.
i think it's so cute.it's like a surprise.
another thing really gd bout jjc is they really can make ordinary ppl like u and i into a leader.
just look at the OGLs,initially when i first stepped into the sch i thought they were all just a weird bunch of ppl who are so enthu and high.
but they were just like anyone of us before they came into the sch,with no experience of leadership,and yet they lead us,trying their best to get us to cheer and get high.
oh and the games are ALL wet games.-.-
actually i dont really like wet games cos i become really unglam after that,and thw worst thing is we have to QUEUE to bathe,and we can't bathe properly cos we hv limited time.
so on the second day i had to bathe with ONE pail of water in the normal toilet.
and after hrs under the sun i became a dark chocolate,again.
another thing i couldnt stand during the camp is that when we had to really SQUEEZE together to cheer,those ppl kp pouring water with SOAP on us,and it ALWAYS end up on my face,so the soap kept going into either my mouth of eyes,which is really really irritating.and we still had to CHEER.
and it's really uncomfortable to cheer like that cos there's no fresh air to breathe.
so,in conclusion,the orientation consists of a few things: cheering and cheering and cheering,very very wet games,lots of soap and water bombs,dancing and dancing(spining around until we get giddy).
and,another conclusion: jj ppl are really enthu.
