"my birthday present for you this year will be GOLD for SYF." (for his SYF for fuhua, not my SYF.)
this was what my brother told me.
if it really happens, it will be the best birthday present i would ever dream of. :)
my dad wrote this in an email he sent me:
Dear girl, Being 18 years young tomorrow is a big milestone in life. As an 18 year young, you are legally allowed to drink liquor, go to night club, go for M18 movies. The reason why the govt put 18 years young as a legal limit because the govt expect the 18 years young people be able to take responsibility for themselves and know how to differentiate right and wrong, can and cannot, which means you are in a different stage of your life journey. Well, dad wish you can be more responsible in whatever you do, be more discipline in your own commitment to others. These are simple yet important characteristic of a successful individual. Dad is happy to know you have great ambition in life, want to be successful in your career. All that takes a lot of self discipline to be able to achieve. My dad is so sweet. and he's so cute. eighteen years YOUNG.lol.

i have never really learnt how to appreciate the things i have and how fortunate i am. to have such nice parents.
like my dad said, i'm eighteen. it's time i learn how to be grateful. :)
