had been really busy and tired since work started. :(
it's my first ever job!

anyways there's only one word to describe life now. RUSH.

yes, rush. morning after waking up rush to get ready and leave home in time.
after leaving home rush to squeeze on the stupid train during the peak hour cos if i miss the train i'm late.
then rush to the place where we wait for the company's bus at je cos the bus doesn't wait.
then rush for lunch once it's 12.30 cos my stomach is growling.
then rush to pack up and rush down to take the company bus back to je at 5.30pm.

life like this sucks.

it's only been a week and one day since work started and it feels like it's been a month already.
luckily there's chiyen at work with me, so it isn't that bad. :)

sigh, the week just goes by like this, and it's going to be monday again. T.T T.T T.T

came back from korea and hongkong and finally settled down. :D

there are really TOO many of them and i already almost died uploading them onto fb.
there are 133 photos altogether on fb. we took about 500 photos in total for this trip. so 100+ is already picked and chosen out of them.
my sister said 500 photos is little, as compared to other holidays.
that's because we were too frozen to pose for the photos and secondly, the CAMERA froze too. lol. the camera refused to work at times.

it's really quite cold there in korea now. it's about -8 degrees celsius on average. it goes down to -10 degree celcius in the evening and in the morning and it gets cold very quickly cos the sun sets really early.
so we all hide in the hotel room with the cosy warmer when evening comes.

although it is very cold it only snowed twice! :( i was kind of expecting to see places covered with snow everywhere (that's how it's like on tv dramas.LOL)
but my sister said doesn't mean that when it's cold it will snow :)
the only time we saw the ground flled with snow is at the ski park.
skiing is cool but it's SOOO hard, i swear. and i think all the equipments add uo together is half as heavy as my already.

we transit at hongkong from korea so we stopped by at HK for 2 days before coming back to s'pore. after experiencing the weather at korea, hong kong didn't feel like it was cold at all. lol
if it was last time i will think it's cold already.

meanwhile, some of the very rare photos with PEOPLE in it. :D

the teddy bear farm is super cute! lots of bear in it and i think we took the most photos with PEOPLE here, cos it's not cold inside. LOL.

this is a hugeeee ski park by samsung (yes, the mobile phone brand samsung). it's really pretty (and scary) there. the mountain is really high and people ski down from there (can't see from the photo). O.O not advisable for unprofessional people. not for the faint hearted either.

you can only smile like this when you are NOT moving with that stupid thing on your leg.

the very awesome hotel...with the very awesome TOILET. the toilet wall is a glass so you can see through from the room. the bathtub is like the size of my toilet. LOL. okay that's an exaggeration.

i really like this set of clothes but i can't really wear it in singapore, cos of the weather. so i wear it as much as possible overseas. :D the boots are new from korea. not like i can wear it in s'pore either. haha!

prom 09 viva las vegas

prom is over! had a great monday night on 7 dec 09. :)
wasn't really excited about prom but until i went there then i realised it's actually memorable.
it officially marks the end of jc life.
the theme was viva las vegas, the setting was cool.
it's held at Shangri-la Hotel and coincidentally SAJC are having their prom on the same night too, at the same hotel. :D
we ere sort of side by side, the toilets were flooded with people.
and.. i ran into siyun! :D:D:D haven't seen her in ages. haha. too i didn't have a chance to take photo with her.
everyone was so pretty. i thought i took a lot of pictures but i realised not a lot. er, i mean compared to other people.

just when i thought i got everything and i am quite prepared for prom already....

(i already decided to wear the dress i got last year for my sister's company's dinner and dance, black dress from topshop. so i only shopped for accessories and heels this year and settle my makeup and hair..)

mum: oui, you got try your dress or not, scarli cannot wear already! one year already leh!

me: !!! (shit, i didn't think of that!!) *shocked*

i haven't tried the dress yet! seriously. please please please let me fit in.

prom is next monday. and i'm still having a headache!
had always been looking forward to prom and thought prom was something really big and great and glam and a must-go.
but actually, now that it's near the date, i don't exactly feel that excited.
hmmm. and i realised prom is actually just prom. lol.

uh but i still had a headache trying to shop for accessories and all. i think out of 7 days in a week 5 days are spent on shopping. and i swear i walked every corner of Orchard already. SOOOO tired from walking and i am going to puke from Orchard. LOL.
but i managed to shop for my stuff already.
now the headache is, hair and make up. cos i dunno what and how to do my hair. and dunno where too. i see lots of nice styles in magazines but i dunno whether the hair salons are able to do it. cos they can cut hair doesn't mean they can style the hair, like in the magazine. plus it will not turn out as nice. cos there's a reason why those are in magazines.
make up is another BIGGG headache. i thought i could go to makeup counters in the cosmetic department in departmental stores, those on level one. but i heard you have to purchase makeup from them then they will do it for you. as in they don't do make up service alone.
uh you buy anything from those brands and i bet you it's almost 100 bucks.
sigh.

celebrated jaya's birthday on 28 nov at botanic garden. she's finally 18! lol.
we had pot luck and water fight(aimed at the birthday girl but we all got wet anyway) plus face painting with cake. Swensen's ice cream cake. LOL.

yay i'm back! i forgot when was the last time i blogged. :D

erm actually i don't have much to blog about now. cos i haven't been going out yet. except for shopping. T.T i miss shopping.

A levels is finally over but it was kind of miserable.
like it didn't end in relief.
cos most of the papers were difficult. chinese, econs, gp.
so i think i won't do well. i have a feeling i have to retake As next year.
yup it's that bad.
econs was HORRIBLE i swear. T.T never felt so depressed during an exam before.
i had the strong urge to just stand up and leave the hall and give up.
then i realised many others had this thought too. lol.
i was very happily clearing my table and now it's so empty. :D no more piles of notes on the table.
oh but i haven't cleared my notes totally yet. in case....

now that it's over i don't know what to do. cos i feel i have so many things to do but i don't know where to begin.
got lots of people to go out with and meet up too. plus k box with different groups of people. :D
and i HOPE there will be a class outing which will be successful. *hint hint*
erm and i got to find a job but not so soon. i don't know if i should start now?
and then there's prom on 7 dec. :)
and lots of shows to watch and catch up! :D

i can come and with a to-do-list and it will never end.

still can't believe it's over! 2 years and of sweat and blood just ended in 2+ weeks. T.T

i'm back! after such a long time. :D

prelims is finally over. but of course, next is A levels already. :(
i just counted and i kind of got a shock when i realised...
there's 61 days left!
the number is quite scary because it's actually quite fast.
i still had the impression that we have another 100 days left or so. HAHA.

uh huh, so it's 2 more months left.

i know i won't do well for prelims because i didn't really work hard for it.
so i thought, aiya nvm after prelims then work hard.
-.- but now that we have 2 weeks break. i have no mood to study too!
i feel like i still have so many things to do:
i would like to go k box one last time before A levels, cos i dunno when's the next time i can go again.
i'm going to ION orchard with my sis this weekend cos it's been open for quite long already and i haven't been there yet. (it's been MONTHS since i last shopped.sad life right.)
mm i wanna cut my hair too. or else i won't have time to do that when school reopens.
and maybe a couple more people to meet...

uh see. how to study like that. haha.

went back to fuhua for teacher's day with pei. not to see the teachers.
uh was quite disappointed actually cos we didn't see people i expected to see.(actually only one person..)
there really weren't many people who went back this yr. quite pathetic.
half the teachers we know are gone, i guess. (a lot of new faces)
didn't see ms wong either.

but i'm glad we met up with ks and ps, people i haven't seen in ages. :)

oh and immediately after our prelims ended(when the science classes are still having their papers. in fact, they are STILL having their prelims now!) we celebrated lucas's and his sister Angela's birthday. had picnic at west coast park.
lucas, becoming legal, obviously can't escape from drinking. so we made him finish a bottle of alcohol.
will post photos next time if i have a chance to. :)

i'm sick again. :(
it's the second time in the month i fell sick.
recently the flu virus has been spreading all around (esp in sch). other than H1N1.
as in the normal flu virus.
urgh. and then the cough medicine makes me feel so drowsy i just feel like sleeping all day. haha.

there's one week of study break after national day. then it's prelims.
2 and half more months to A level.

first paper of A level starts on 2 Nov.
i guess i won't be blogging till it's over. so... see ya on my last paper, 20 nov. :))

went to ikea last weekend again and bought this new show cabinet. :)
my sis had a great time arranging her shoes. or more like, her heels. :D

bought a corkboard for my table from ikea. :D to pin all my notices and photos. love it!
so i shifted all the stuff pasted on the wall onto the corkboard.

there's mock prelim coming up and shortly after that it's prelims, followed by A levels already.
it's crazy to know how time flies.
and seriously there are soooo many exams/tests. argh.

so i guess i have less time/chance to blog now.
very lazy to blog recently too. since there's not much stuff to say anyway cos i haven't been going out. sad sad life!

i donated blood at the health sciences authority at Outram cos i heard from the news that day that the singapore red cross needs O negative/A negative blood type urgently cos of the Jakarta bombing.
since the blood type is so rare i guess they really need it. plus the number of people who have this the negative blood types are already so rare, and not everyone will go and donate, so there's very little.

and we went to IKEA again yesterday, to buy a shoe cabinet. haha.
i think we are like regular customers already. we go there almost every week.
the shoe cabinet's really big and hard to assemble.
it reminds us how many shoes we have. O.O

oh and i changed my phone to LG viewty cos my phone spoiled. like totally died, i couuldn't even switch it on.
there's no point fixing it cos it's old already so we thought must as well change to a new one. my mum's contract had to be renewed so i used hers to change my phone.
haha don't ask me why i took LG again. i don't know either.
my dad was like, OUI why LG again?! wait i have to send the phone all the way to the service centre for you again! haha.
the phone was on promotion and i didn't like the other phones. so in the end, it's LG. lol.
still struggling with touch screen. so i take a lifetime to type one msg. haha!
and then people reply me like 10 seconds later. and then i type again.

my phone still didn't work in the end.so i sent the photos to my sis's phone and asked her to upload the photos for me. sigh. LG.

yay so i shall blog with photos.
alright what happened last week..
uh. my parents decided to do a makeover for my house.haha.
so we went to IKEA and bought lots of new furnitures.
and IKEA's furnitures are all DIY so we took 2 whole days to assemble ALL the furnities and replace them with the old ones.
and that's not all, my mum said there will be more.
so we had been going to IKEA VERY often. like,almost every weekend.
but IKEA is a nice place to walk around. even if you are not buying anything.(but you usually end up getting something in the end)

right. and i think they are going to paint the house soon. so i guess my house is going to look quite different.

(this was what we bought on the first day to IKEA)
me,my sis and my bro bought new quilts too! :D

so after replacing the furnitures we reorganised lots of stuff.
my sister was stock-checking her CD collection when we all realised how much CDs she have. O.O

i COUNTED! there's 326 in total. OMG la. CDs only, haven't included her collection of VCDs and DVDs.

the sky was SO beautiful that day so i took photos of the clouds.
i loved the clouds that day. :)

bro: (very random remark) i want to take history next time.
mum: OUI why take history! history is useless. must take science!
me: *silent* *exchange looks with my bro and sigh*
bro: but i don't like science.
mum: no science is good. history can do what?
me: (to my bro) she's saying i'm useless. :(

although i don't take history but i don't take science either and i am in the Arts stream. so i belong to that category too.
sigh. i symphatise with my brother because parents somehow always have this perspective that Arts is always useless or no future, while Science is always the good and safe one.
i'm not saying i don't agree that Arts in Singapore is somehow restricted BUT.
to restrict someone at such a young age and define for him what 'good' and what is 'bad' for him, is really bad.
if he really found out that he really want and really like, then why dash his hopes like that?

got back GP mid year paper and i failed paper 2 (comprehension). -.-
and our teacher set the paper and he said it wasn't really that difficult, like not really different from A level standard. O.O
oh and in my essay for paper 1 the teacher who marked my paper put this O.O face in her comment for my essay. that was the first time i see a teacher use O.O as a comment!lol.

met up with andy and pi for k box yesterday(tuesday).
finally met up with andy, after so long. it's been half a yr, or maybe more than that, since i last saw him.
we went to the new k box at SAFRA jurong west.(near jp)
the vintage one. it's quite cool and they have new fuctions like the touch screen computer system. and they can record the songs for you too!

it wasn't really the best day to meet andy cos everything just didn't seem to be right that day. haha.
and it doesn't help that k box was at 11am..
firstly i had bad hair day. secondly my eyes were DAMN small that day cos i didn't sleep well the night before. and then my voice sucked that day.

it's been a long time since i came here!
oh no i feel i have so many things to blog about but i'm lazy.
and it's the third week of holidays and i just started studying for Mid Years! :X
i wasted 2 weeks of my holiday.lol.
i have so many so many more things to do. including finish reading all my lit texts before exam.
ya can you believe it, i haven't even read my lit texts. haha! :D

uh i can't even remember what i did for the past few weeks of holiday.

okay first it was taahi's 19th birthday on 6 june(sat).
we actually wanted to go to k box that day but i dunno why they suddenly changed their mind and so we went all the way to plaza singapura for swensens. LOL.
all the way to town, i repeat, for swensens! only. after that we left one by one.
the was belly dancing competition outside plaza sing that day and we watched a little.
gave taahi our present and i think she had a great surprise. :D
we gave her an album full of her unglamest photos and photos that even she herself have never seen before.lol.

then one day after taahi's birthday was HUISHAN's(aqua) birthday!
it's been quite some time since the few of us met up already.
and though me,hui and bee studying in the same sch we hardly see/talk to each other too.
took my first polaroid photo with pi and bee and hui.
i want that camera too! it's so fun. but it's 80/90 bucks.T.T
i really love and treasure gatherings like that. when all of uf are together..
no need to be very often. just do simple things. just talk.

then after enjoying that weekend it was GP mid year paper.
OMG it was horrible,horrible! no other words to describe it.
but i'm still glad it's over.
we were all traumatised by it.

okay so after all the the second week of holiday, JJCO had a gathering at my house.
we had bbq.
i dunno why they decided to have it at my house anyway. but i was glad i didn't have to travel.haha!
mainly the J1s came at 4 and i thought 4pm was too early for a bbq. and it was really hot.the weather.
but i was SO wrong.haha.
we started at 4 but only managed to start the fire by about 7.30pm so we only started cooking then.
thank god we started at 4. and there were 3 J2s,me,winnie and tj(the ex-committee members) and we thought we could like sit down and enjoy and let the J1s cook and serve us or something.
but we were wrong again! they were playing games and while we struggled with the fire.lol.
and the magnificent president just couldn't get the fire started.until 7.30pm.
but it was quite fun anyway. :)

then fri me,taahi and soleha went to party world ktv!
we already wanted to sing like dunno how long ago just that it never happened until then.so we finally went. at clementi.
we wanted to go to k box but we asked them and the rates was about $21 per person!
crazy! so we decided to go party world which was just next door.
it was quite cool and they have more english songs than we expected.:)
it's the first time i sing english songs when i go k box.
it was a different experience altogether and we had fun.

so...we decided we shall go again soon. like real soon. before the holiday ends.LOL.
i know we are supposed to be studying. :)

It was vaanavil 2009 on sat, 30 May in jj.
it's an event held by JJ's Indian Cultural Society.
we helped to usher that day. everyone involved had to be in Indian costume.
so we wore saree.
the colour of my saree was pink! :D i love the colour.
i stood near the entrance of LT5(the venue of the event) for hours and kept saying, 'welcome, this way please' and smiled ALL the time until my cheeks were so tired. lol.
saree is a complicated thing to wear. but it's pretty.
my classmates performed for the show. it was awesome!

it was a damn tired and busy weekend.
firstly it was talentime on sat night and then overnight at Soleha's house cos we had CIP the next morning and we had to report 4am in the morning at Jurong East.
so we didn't sleep that night actually.
then it was hard work and labour, under the hot sun for hours.
damn it the sun was freaking hot that day.even though it was morning.
the CIP is Cold Storage Kids Run. this race for kids.damn cute.
uh but instead we were packing goodie bags under the hot sun. non stop.
and we were working soooo fast cos the demand was soo high and we had to hurry.

we have officially stepped down last wednesday.
it was kind of sad cos although it's like a huge burden gone but i still can't bear to leave everything behind. after all it's been 1 and half years.
there is a kind of attachment to this cca, never like before.
it wasn't even like that in secondary school.
and this may be the last time i am ever going to touch my zhong ruan.T.T
i love my instrument so much!

we had like,a mini celebration and party, as a form of farewell to the J2s and also to welcome the new J1 committee. finally, they took over us.
tj said he felt uneasy and i think i feel the same too. like somehow that's not the end and it is not that easy after all.
i still felt guilty cos i feel i wasn't much of a great help to tj and winnie.
and tj sounded like he agreed that i am not that good. T.T
finally the J1s know my name. after almost half a year.omg.

i never really talked about SYF.
it was a super,super chaotic day cos we were the second school to perform, in the morning session.
we were supposed to report by 8.20am at SCH, and report to school at 5.45am.
but we were still behind schedule in the end and we all started to panic and all was in a mess.
we arrived at SCH late, and i didn't know that points will be deducted if we were late!!omg.
and then very soon it was our turn, i think cos we were in a rush so we didn't tune properly or we were too nervous so the pitch was all wrong.
it all ended in minutes on stage. without even realising.
and so it was over. just like that.
a few of us went back to SCH to hear the results ourselves cos we had to go back to school after our performance.
it was the first time i went to hear the results for SYF. cos i didn't do that in fuhua.

anyway, it was an unforgettable experience. :)

reality is cruel. and when reality finally sinks in....

my dad sent me an email again after he saw that i was feeling so down and depressed after coming home from SYF yesterday.
he told me he understands the disappointment and if it was him he will be disappointed too.
he told me lots of stuff bout how failure may not be a bad thing because we all emerge stronger after that.
he said, this is life, and reality is just this cruel.
and it takes time to get over it.the faster we can forget, the better off we will be.

i understand all the philosophical stuff about failure and trying the best is enough already stuff.

people kept telling me bronze is good enough, what matters is that we all tried our best.

i feel like telling them, really, that it isn't good at all.
they make it sound so easy and stuff cos.
they don't and will never understand how hard it was.

the disappointment comes not only from the results.
yes we weren't good.
but still, that is not something anyone will want to get,after so so so much pain and effort.

months of hard work and pain just ended in less than 10 minutes.
it was like a dream. and now it is over and we all have to wake up to the truth.

i feel so useless when they are all coming up with something productive but there is nothing i can do.
there is nothing i can help, even if i want to. 我只会越帮越忙吧。

maybe he's right. maybe i shouldn't be there at all.
there are so many people who can do much much better.
than can be of a greater help.
they don't need me at all, i guess. not that there is much difference.

second stage is primary school.they gave a barbie water bottle.
third stage is grown up. er. what they gave..it's up to you to guess. lol.
last is 18.finally. and they gave me this..

so i went back with a whole lot of presents. never felt so loved before. :D
oh and after school that day i got sabo-ed.
they got all the april babies out of sch.we went to the playground outside sch,supposedly to play blind mice, but they tied us together and made us the catcher and so we had to close our eyes and count.
then when we went to look for them, they poured flour,nutrisoy,egg and some other stuff(i forgot) all over us.
so we went back to school UNGLAM, looking like a construction worker. LOL.

but anyway it was fun. :)

went out with pi,bee,hui yesterday to celebrate pi and my birthday too.
pi gave me a very nice diary. shall start writing from now on.hehe.

my dad wrote this in an email he sent me:

i'm back!
i felt really really depressed after take econs test on tues,
cos i freaking studied for it but i still couldn't do! urgh.
T.T i most probably(confirm) will have to take the re-test(my teacher LOVES retests).
which means studying all over again! oh no. :(

The Malay dance SYF is over.we went to support them too.
so nearly everyone's SYF is over, except for ours.
and the best part is, band's SYF is on the same day as us.
good news ah.
AND they are also wearing blazor for SYF. even better news.

silver. all i hope for is a silver.
fuhua's SYF is on 21 april! have i mentioned this before? my brother's in it btw.

we conducted the interview for the next batch of committee members for CO.
mm. it wasn't really that productive as we thought cos after a LONG time we still couldn't make a choice.
seriously, there isn't anyone who is really suitable for the chairman position.
anyway, we are going to step down soon. like. after SYF. :)

blood donation!

i'm so lazy to blog recently. :D

We went to watch and support our school's Indian Dance SYF on wed, 1st April,
at university cultural centre at NUS.
JJ's indian dance has been getting gold with honours for consecutive 2 years already.
and they are really good.
cos we really witness their hard work and effort and lots of practices everyday etc.
and we watched them not only on the actual day but during their practices as well.
so yea, they are really good. not saying this because i'm from jj or something.
:)
we really expected and hoped they would do well.
but they got a silver.
i feel so sad for them, cos they really put in so much effort.
anyways, we know they are always the best. :)
even the supporters from other schools said they were good.
i think jj had the most number of supporters there.haha.as usual.we had a bus of people.

talking about SYF, our SYF is on 6 May. we have, about one more month.
it seems like a long way to go but nope. not at all.
i will be soooo happy if we can get a silver. like literally jump for joy.
sigh. the members are not even feeling anxious that we have ONE more month to go ONLY, and there's no sense of urgency.
let's just hope for some miracle to happen..
oh and our school is the second school that day, after SAJC.
sigh, early in the morning.....

another thing is blood donation drive on friday!
jj has it every year.
me and my classmate tried it for the first time!
i actually thought i couldn't get through the test before the donation.
test for iron level, blood count, blood pressure etc.
but wow, i got through! haha.
it was so scary and i was so nervous that when i checked for blood pressure the doctor asked me, 'are you very nervous? your heart is beating very fast.'HAHA.
but surprisingly, the blood donation process wasn't painful at all!
they injected painkiller before stuffing the needle in.

and i just found out during civics lession that day that only about 1% of the population belongs to negative blood type.
i'm in the 1%! :D

i got PINK bandage after the donation. HEHE. it's so cute!

the one week holiday is ending soon. :(((

finally met up with amanda and shih joo on thursday.
went to vivo straight after school and had lunch with them.
we only had time for lunch cos amanda had something on later in the afternoon.
i managed to buy my sister's present too. super belated one.

i totally felt like i was from Mars or something cos i was with two poly students,both from SP,both just got their results.
uh and i was like one nerd or something standing between them in UNIFORM.
half the time i couldn't really understand what they were saying cos they were all talking in poly terms, talking bout sch and everything.

yesterday, bee,huishan and me went to sipei's new house.
she moved quite some time already but haven't really got the chance to go there.
her new house is really nice. and er, new, of course.
we happily played with her macbook and camwhored like nobody's business.
we took A LOT.i think there's 100?
macbook is amazing!
anyway i didn't really expect bee to upload the photos on facebook.
so i happily took all the unglam photos. i really mean UNGLAM.
shit, there goes my image.
she upload a whole album of the camwhore photos.and she tagged all of us so the photos are now under my profile photos too.
this is the thing about facebook, you can do anything. so even your friends can upload photos onto YOUR facebook. (i only realised that recently.told you i'm a noob)

i FINALLY created a facebook account, after being bugged by my friends for so long.
facebook is a complicated thing that i think i will never be able to understand.haha.

erm wow,it's been a long time since i last updated.
so i don't know where to start.
the last thing i mentioned was drama fest and the home learning thing,i guess?
quite a few things happened from that time till now.
so i will just summarise.

first, bannister house camp and JJ's annual sports meet.
we had the camp one day before the sports meet which was on fri.
it's actually for the J1s,we had it last yr too.for the J2s it's optional.
but our wonderful class,being so on and enthu,of course we will go.
J1s had campfire,that is all i know.haha.
we were supposed to have movie marathon, but we HAD to sleep by 12pm.-.-
in the end we watched ONE movie,horror movie, ALONE.
scared the shit out of me.
ordered mac for supper which finished super fast.
slept at 2am that night and woke up at 5am. AND THEN SPORTS MEET.
can you imagine how tiring that is.
we(bannister house) didn't win the cheering competition this yr.
which is very sad because that's about the only thing we win and it's the first year after a few consecutive years that we didn't win for cheering.
this is the first time i would say i had really put my heart and soul into cheering.motivating the J1s to cheer,whatever.
we ran with the runners who were running for bannister,we cheered at all corners of the track.
we tried so hard to get people to get their butts off the grandstand and go down to cheer.but they just wouldn't.

even i feel the disappointment,can't imagine the house committee members.

i had a part in painting a banner for the first time,for the sports meet.quite fun. though i had paint on my skirt and we ended up painting each other at times. :D

next is CIP at jurong spring CC on a SUNDAY MORNING.
had to report at 6.45am so i woke up at about 5.20am.
MY SLEEP!
and i can't believe so man J1s don't know where is jurong spring CC which is the macdonalds,which is SO near our sch.(at the market there)
don't they EVER go anywhere after school?
Prime Minister Lee went for the event.
it's a wellness carnival thing, for the elderly aged 50 and above.
i seriously needed CIP hours cos i haven't done any yet.haha.
most of our classmates went.
we were cyclists, and our job was basically(only) to bring the bicycles the ministers and guest of honours rode back to rulang primary, which was only, 200m away or something?-.- AND WE GET 6 HOURS OF CIP.
we took about a min to cycle there.
THAT'S OUR JOB.

after that we were so bored that we just tried to kill time by walking around, playing games and just walk around.all the way till about 12pm.
well, at least we got to shake hands with Mr Tharman. the education minister(right?)

here i am at home now,
when i am supposed to be in school at this time of this day, by right.
but there's tis stupid home learning thing so we all don't have sch today.
instead we will be doing assignments online according to our timetable in within the given time limit.

i tell you, it is WORSE than being in school.
except that maybe we get to skip PE today cos you can't possibly run online.
and!we actually do MORE work than we do in school,
because the teachers want to try out this home learning thing even if we don't have their lessons today.
so it's like,work for every subject.think about it. :(

and it's not exactly very fun to be doing literature essay early in the morning at 8 am.
not fun at all.

drama fest!

after much pain,sweat,tears,joy,sweet,sour,bitter,laughter,whatever,
the drama fest 2009 has come to an end. it's really over.

there were moments when i wished i have not taken lit at all,
there were times when i really wished to give up and just not care about anything.

the actual day,20 feb,friday was rather fun actually.
though we were all so tired because for a few consecutive days we had been staying back rather late to rush through things and do our stuff.
but we had fun.
it's a great experience that will leave great memories behind,forever!

i didn't have time to blog about updates of drama fest,
in the end we decided on Romeo and Juliet,not the classic Shakespeare tragic love story kind.
but the laugh-until-you-die kind.
the script is really funny and brainless.

the most unexpected part was we actually won the best play award.
it was really a sweet surprise,because none of us expected it.
everything was screwed up before the final thing,the real big thing.
during rehearsals and all the practices.
everything went wrong and went like shit,we were all kind of desperate.
it was all a last minute thing,we only started on this play 2 weeks before.
but thank god everything went rather smoothly during the actual thing.
we had to cut short the play last minute on the day before,because the teacher told us it was too long.so we were really desperate.

i didn't realise you can get so much satisfaction from the laughter and applause from the audience down there, while you are performing.
it's really really unforgettable.people are enjoying.

i didn't know that i could act in front of an audience that big,
and stand on stage and face them.
i didn't think i could do that.
it's like,overcoming boundaries and all.
so it means A LOT to me. :)

thanks all who were there for me, all the encouragement and support.
and my lovely classmates!
and the wonderful stage manager soleha!
and sipei for coming down too. :D

the J1s are coming in tmr!
i think it will only be till tmr then i will really feel like i'm J2.sigh.

it's been a busy weekend.lots of stuff to settle.
but the best part was me and my sis went to watch a chinese play by ZHANG AIJIA.
it's one of the programmes of the Singapore huayi festival 2009.
my first 舞台剧, chinese play.
it's a really really good play, the script is written by 张艾嘉, acted by her of course, together with 郑元畅 and other actors from Taiwan and Hongkong.
the play is called 《华丽上班族之生活与生存》， design for living.

and so Zhang Aijia finally got to see her idol, Zhang Aijia.
(my sis's name is zhang aijia. exactly the same)
joe cheng, zheng yuan chang is super good looking in real life.
and he is very,very,very cute!:D
i wish we were sitting at the first floor and in the front rows cos they were so near him and it's like a closed up view!
but because my dear sis only knew that the play is showing only on fri and sat on fri night, so when we booked the tickets all the good seats were sold out.
we were sitting at the level 3!
at the end of the play all the actors came out to thank the audience and say a few words, after which they all passed their flowers to zheng yuan chang for him to throw the flowers to the audience. T.T
i want it toooooooo.....

there were a handful of his fans watching too. he got the loudest and longest cheer when he came out.not surprising actually.
i never thought Singapore audience would be so 热情。
it was full house,the theatre was damn big and the whole theatre of audience stood up to clap for them at the end of the play. and cheered and cheered and clapped and clapped, non-stop!
i think the actors were super touched and some actually cried.
it was their last show in Singapore.

anyways, it is an awesome play. :D

chinese new year?

chinese new year so does not feel like chinese new year this year.
sigh.
i seriously don't have any mood for CNY.no festive mood.nope.
i realised most of the people around me feel the same too. why?

the stupid econs teacher left us with econs tutorial, an essay question which no one knows how to do, to celebrate the new year.
oh god.
just because she don't wanna celebrate doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't want to too.
there's market failure test this thurs.
i CANNOT stand macroeconomics.

there's something missing in this year's new year.
probably because this is the first time we don't go to my grandma's house.because she passed away for 2 years already.
last time it used to be.like,a common gathering place for EVERYONE.
since she's the oldest and the eldest in the family.
now it's like.everyone's scattered everywhere. :(

there's this literature drama festival in jj.it's like an annual thing.for lit students in jj.
each class is required to put up a play on our own.
everything's on our own. deciding the play,the scrip,acting,props,backstage,lighting,sound effects,everything.
WOW.
it's kind of cool.except for the amount of work we have to do within like,a month?
and i put my name under props, or whatever will do as long as im not acting.
BUT.
we had this 'audition' or trial for the roles and actors,
and they are short of people for this MAIN character currently,
so everyone had to try for the role.
and i don't know why and don't know how everyone decided on me for that role.
apparently they think i'm suitable. ME?!
i'm supposed(supposed to,i really dunno bout the details yet) as as this main character while she's young,about 12 yrs old.
she's supposed to be a little crazy and erm.retarded,i would say.
it's a comedy btw.
but they say i lack the craziness so i should do the young version instead.who is.erm.cute?

damn it, i have serious stage fright and i don't think i can act?-.-

this is the first time i saw him getting so angry.

it's quite understandable that he's this angry,i think.

imagine being the head of a cca,
and you are actually putting effort and bother to do something for the cca.
you wish to see this cca working well and running smoothly under you.
but this is not the case.
and the teacher puts the blame on you.
and nobody bothers to listen to you.

but the worst part is, it's not even the case that you are not doing anything.
you tried, but it just doesn't work.

how would you feel?

i think the purpose of joining a cca, is because there must be some kind of.i dunno, affection? feeling? attachment? towards it?
what is the purpose of joining a cca and you don't even go for a single practice or whatsoever.
and what is the purpose of joining a performing arts when, you don't even have the heart to go for SYF. and be prepared to give your heart and soul and mind and everything, to this one and only,ultimate goal, SYF.
won't you want to achieve something,for SYF?
or just go there,and get a COP,saying,"it's okay, what matters is the experience.not winning."

it is really really tiring.
and sometimes it is nt that we don't want to do something.

hello! it's 2009. a brand new year.
new year resolutions?hmm, i don't know.

school's starting next week.
and i'm spending my last pathetic week chiong-ing school work and revising.sigh.
i didn't realised this year's chinese new year is so early.
why can't they just start school after CNY.

i accompanied my mum to the parents dialouge session with Mdm Oen during the sec one orientation.
so many things have changed there, so sometimes i really can't help but to think,
i don't belong there anymore.
i still get the feeling that my brother doesn't like being in that school.

the edusave bursary award ceremony at West View Primary School on 3 Jan.

finally got the award cert from the minister. i was like one of the last few people?
cos JC catergory was the last.
i was quite surprised to see quite a few jj people there.

this is the first time i got this award.
because it's the first time i am actually eligible to apply for it.haha.
cos my father isn't working anymore.:D

my sis and my dad went for the award ceremony and they wore like they were going to a wedding dinner.
then when i was leaving the house my dad said:
"oui why you wear nike?! you must wear bata!"

my brother is officially my junior now!
his appeal into fuhua was successful.
so he would be a student of fuhua very soon.2 jan.

he don't want to get into fuhua actually.
but my parents want him to go fuhua(i find it funny too,they used to be against the idea of me going fuhua).
he wanted to get into clementi town sec.it was his first choice.
fuhua was second choice. he didn't get into both.
so my parents appealed for both clementi and fuhua.

i guess my brother doesn't want to go into fuhua because he doesn't have friends he know from his pri sch who are going there.
but i don't see a problem here.
i went to fuhua all alone 5 years ago too.
if i could,why not him?
it's just another stage of our life,which everyone would go through.
if i never went into fuhua,i would just be sticking to my small circle of friends in primary school.
and would never get to know such great bunch of friends like bee,pi,hui,joo,amanda,andy,karseng,the rumao queens, and many many more....

i hope he understand this too. i believe when he looks back in the future,he wouldn't regret it too. :)

we went to imm for lunch.was supposed to watch movie.they want to watch twilight too.
but they changed their mind cos of me.

last friday was my sister's company's annual D&D.
i was her partner.
the theme was international.(i was obviously not following the theme)
my sis wore cheongsum there.omg.
i thought she would be the only outstanding one.
but i was wrong.there were a couple of people wearing cheongsum too.wow.
the dinner was really nice,at Shangri-la hotel.
i wore the dress from Topshop.hehe.
i gave up all means and attempts to style my hair.sigh.
i went with the same old classic ponytail in the end.haha.
the emcee was really really funny he was the main reason the whole dinner was so enjoyable.

sunday we went to the starhub roadshow at suntec to sign up a new line for my brother.
i finally know why my father dislikes starhub so much.
cos they are so inefficient.sigh.
we waited from about 5.30 pm all the way till 10 pm.
and there were mnay many more people in the queue behind us.
imagine how long they have to wait...
it's insane,waiting for hours to get a stupid phone line.

it was a good trip overall,except for the fact that i got stomach flu on the last few days when we were about to go back.

touring s'pore

yesterday had been a reallyyy busy day.
had been going to many different places all over s'pore the whole day.
rushing here and there.i think we crossed all four sides of s'pore,north south east west.

in the morning we went to JB and had lunch there.until about 5 in the afternoon we were back in S'pore.
and then we rushed back home to put our stuff and fetch my brother,then we rushed to fetch my sis from work at orchard and then we rushed to vivocity to get my dress.
i already tried the dress and i know where is it,
so the whole dress-shopping thing lasted in less than 10mins.wow.
it was like amazing raze and your head gets dizzy with all the rush of time.
i had to get the dress today cos there was a special promotion that day,where there was 30%+ additional 10% discount.
the dress is from topshop,i got it at 70 bucks in the end.damn worth it.
oh the dress is for the dinner and dance i mentioned earlier,btw.

after that we rushed to paya lebar because my parents had stuff to settle there,and i was going to meet my friends to go to the airport to send our classmates off to korea.
they are going on a school trip.so cool.
in the end i was late,so i met them at tanah merah instead and we all rushed to the airport.
they took a damn long time just to check in for the flight.
terminal one was like a fish market,while the new terminal 3 was like.lifeless!
but it's so new and pretty.
after sending them off we had dinner at terminal 3,then i rushed to take the train to town to meet my family again.oh god.

the moment i reached home,i just went STRAIGHT for the bed.

i went to school for nothing today.
because we were supposed to finally pay for the class tee and get our class tee.
oh god i cannot believe we even decided on the class tee and finalise already.
so yea it was supposed to be done.BUT.
we went to school only to find out the supplier is only coming with the shirts in the evening.
crazy who wants to wait in school all the way till evening for him.
so we have to come back to get our shirts another day.
and we still had to pay the money first.
the worst part is,it costs 22 bucks,and it's not even going to turn out like how we wanted!
it was supposed to be grey with hot pink font(yes weird combi,i know),but grey was out of stock,so they changed it to LIME GREEN with black/white font.OH GOD.
it's like our orientation tee.
the colour just turns you off and not want to wear it the moment you see it.

This place is like our fareast plaza,popular for teenagers.and it is SUPER duper crowded.it's like taiwan's 西门町 too. it has the biggest pedestrian crossing/traffic junction in tokyo. the whole square in the middle is for pedestrain to cross,so you can cross anywhere and anyhow inside.

hey,i'm back from japan!

it was a really nice trip,except that it was too rushed cos of the very very packed schedule.
we followed a tour,so,what to do?
that is why i don't like tours.
cos firstly,you have to wake up damn early.
bout 6.30 am japan time which is 5.30 our time.
secondly,you don't really get to see a lot of things and really take your time to enjoy everything at every single place,because we have to rush to so many places in a day.
we went to a few cities in japan, tokyo,osaka,kyoto.
we changed hotel EVERYDAY.
the food was great!:D

and of course,tokyo disneyland!yay.
it's the second disneyland i ever visited,other than HongKong.
it's HUGE!

i didn't buy much stuff in japan because the things there cost a bomb.
and you can't really buy much things like clothes and all that because they are having autumn/winter season now.
and the fashion there is really different from ours,which i don't really like actually.
it's nice in their own way.but not suitable for here i guess.
for example,now in japan everywhere you go you see boots.
FUR BOOTS.who on earth wears that in S'pore.
we bought souvenirs and snacks and food mostly.

oh and one thing japanese people cannot live without.
make-up.
they sell makeup everywhere!every corner.every brand.
and everyone puts makeup.
so if you don't make up there you will look like a weirdo.

i can only post the photos earliest this sat,because my mum and sis are in hongkong now,and the cameras are with them.
so i will have to wait till they are back this sat.
they extended their trip to hongkong cos we transited in hongkong on the way back from japan to S'pore.

i cried for no reason yesterday.
just very abruptly felt like crying all of a sudden.

however,i have finally decided on the first dress,the blue one.
(for now only,maybe i will change my mind if i see nicer ones next time)
i really like the blue one,i think it's very elegant(and sleek,as said by taahira).
if you go with the right accessories and the hair and everything,i think it will really look nice.because it is simple,very versatile.

hey,dropping by for a short post.
gonna post some old photos,of the trip to a park(i forgot the name)
it leads to vivo city.
it's a long 6 km walk to vivo city.but it's quite nice.

the A level chinese paper is over!
i felt that i wouldn't do well,because i thought it wasn't that easy.
in fact i think it's harder than O level higher chinese paper.
the options are seriously close and hard to choose.
sigh.it's over anyway.

so the holidays are here!
one more final major thing to go,and then the holiday will REALLY be considered to be started.
that is,PW oral presentation.this coming monday.
another thing i dread of.

maybe, this is all just a dream.

it's the second last day of school already!
yay for that!
but in some ways it's sad too.
A level Chinese is on thursday.
i think my chinese has gone rusty already.oh no.
i am so scared,seriously scared that i can't get an A.
because one,if i don't get,it's a total waste because it will be absolutely useless.
because the H1 chinese doesn't count as one of the subjects i take.since i take h2 chinese lang and literature.
the A grade is just a bonus.if we get an A.
and secondly,it will be a total letdown to myself.

i finally went shopping after god knows how long!
i had been deprived of shopping!omg.i mean it.
my whole family went shopping on deepavali holiday.
we shopped for winter clothes and cold wear,for our coming japan trip.
yay!yes,we are going to japan for holiday!
on the 13 nov,one week. :D damn excited.
so meanwhile we shopped for our normal clothes too.hehe.
it is my first new clothes,in,3-4 months?
and i realised that i don't wear about half or slightly less of the clothes in my wardrobe.or i just wore like once or twice and never touched it.
because after a while i realised i don't like it anymore(which happens quite often),or the taste just changes over the years of growing up.
that is why,my dad always says this when i buy new clothes: SO many clothes already still buy buy buy?!

tmr,last day.our class is having a mini celebration or something.
and we finally,FINALLY,decided on our class tee shirt.FINALLY.
it's been going on for A YEAR.and the year is ENDING.
we wanted grey,but today,we saw that another class was a step faster than us,and they took the idea of grey(we wanted grey cos NO other class had grey shirt)
and that class was scolded by the dear principal today.for the shirt.but i'm not sure what's the reason.

i'm totally burnt now.sunburnt.
and starting to peel already!
i'm dark like shit now.
urgh!

i had been a laughing stock these few days because of my sunburnt face.
cos my cheeks and my nose are super red.
even my scalp is red and burnt.and it is damn painful now.
and then my skin will start to peel and then the colour will be uneven!
uh.it takes quite some time to make it even again!!
and because of the stupid shirt i wore that day.the sleeve is so long.so there is a very obvious tan-line that shows 2 very extreme colours.before.and after.
so my arm have 2 colours now.

it's all because of the JJ sports carnival on tuesday.
we had no lessons that day,cos the teachers were busy doing moderation and discussing bout promotion stuff.
so we are there,playing under the HOT sun from 8 till 12.
it is DAMN hot that day!not normal.
our class took part in netball and frisbee.it's inter-class competition.

i tell you,nobody goes out of JJ without turning BLACK.
cos we have all sorts of stuff.camps.sports day.whatever.

me,jannah and taahira watched Mama-Mia at VivoCity today.after school.cos we ended at 1.
the movie is quite nice.i love the songs!
i think i would like to watch the musical,if i have a chance.
then i had a freaking long bus journey home from Vivo all the way till my house.
one straight bus,963.
took me slightly more than an hour.OMG.
i almost died on the bus.

i finally went to k box at clementi with yixuan.

she told me that the 11-2 session would not be enough.

i thought since there's only 2 person, the time would be sufficient.
haha i didn't expect that she has SO many songs to sing.i swear.
she knows almost every song.

JJ's having the leadership development camp over this weekend.
my friends are all there.
they asked me to go,but i didn't want to cos i am not and do not want to be a leader.
but this camp is voluntary,anyone can go.
which means,anyone can be a leader.well,that's our school.

but i think the camp would be fun.really.

hmm anyway.that day's k box wasn't really satisfying.
nothing to do with yixuan of course.
but i just couldn't sing well that day.i dunno why.

uh,and someone totally affected my mood for the whole weekend.

okay.over the weekend, we went to the turf club on sunday evening to watch Singapore Chinese Orchestra perform. free.
it was open to public.and it was my first time there!
it was so cool!so cool!
the performance started at 7pm. they played traditional folk songs from different countries. it lasted for about an hour.
and i saw quite a few of my teachers,3 from fuhua,one teaching in jjc now.
CO instructors i mean.
the performance was fantastic!

got back some of the results this week.
i'm left with Eng Lit and Econs.
though i already know i failed my econs,cos the teacher said today there are only 4 passes in our class,and there isn't me,obviously.
sigh.
sort of expected actually,just that it's really exasperating when it is the subject you put in the most effort,started studying the earliest, but scored the worst.
so it's one H2 subject down.
(to promote i need 2 H2,2 H1 passes)
i'm counting on lit now,which i have not much hope too.
it's kind of scary now.to think about the possiblities.
i never thought i would be facing this kind of a situation,worrying whether or not i will promote.
but here it comes.reality hits.(like the quiz says,i AM a dreamer)

THANK GOD i passed my GP.i was so relieved.seriously.
it was out of my expectations.
and chinese too,really really unexpected.
and MATHS.whoa.
i have really extreme results.

the teachers are taking damn long to return our papers, because they need to do moderation.

i think we are only getting i next week!
we don't get to keep our papers,can you believe it.

had been exceptionally lazy these few days,especially since it's the post exam period.
plus,too long never do PW.
so,totally had no mood for it.
sucks man.

i think by next week we will get back all our results.

on tuesday our GP teacher let us watched a documentary on global warming.
after watching that video then i realised how serious is the problem.
i think we all had been taking this too lightly and for granted.
there had been the rumours of the world coming to an end by when...
like the one amanda mentioned in her blog,by 2012.
uh.we may all think that it's just nonsense and won't come true.
but reflecting now,you will never know.
because,nature's been giving us all the signs..
the natural disasters and all that.
the unusual stuff that no one would expect to happen.
it's quite scary,and sad.

that was the very first time i actually stayed awake through the whole video okay(my teacher lets us watch videos every now and then)

we should all do out part for the Earth,isn't it?

my brother is having his PSLE exam!starting from today.
woohoo.damn fast la.
last year it was O level,this year PSLE,next year A level.
uh and my brother boasted that today's english paper was easy.sheesh.

the Singapore Formula One is over,
and it was the first ever F1 race which my whole family watched together,from the start till the very end!
everyone was in my father's room!
my dad watches every race without fail,so that's not unusual.
but everyone.including my mum.omg.
why oh why?because it's in Singapore.
er anyway it was an exciting race.
we all went 'OH NO!" when kimi raikkonen crashed during the last 4/5 laps remaining.

"DO NOT use although and but TOGETHER!" i made this mistake once and she made me go around telling everyone that sentence.so yes miss wong,i remember my this mistake.)

i miss my blog,it's been one week plus since i blogged.
okay actually cos there's too many things so i don't know where to start.
let's skip the exams part,we will worry bout it when the results come.

POST PROMOS ACTIVITIES.

me and my class friends went out after our last paper.
we went back home first and met up at about 4,and we went down to bugis.
our main purpose of the trip is to do henna.er is it the correct spelling.
you know the one where you draw on your hand using the ink/liquid thingee.
it was at tekka which was in little india which was a place i had never been to.
cool right.
we spent about a useless 1 hour walking around bugis without a destination.haha.
cos we were waiting for 7 to eat dinner,
so that we can break fast together with the muslim friends at 7 sharp.
we went to a halal chinese coffee shop somewhere near bugis junction at 6pm.
so we sat there for one hour talking.haha!
the people there are very nice,they let you order first then they will serve the food at 7pm.
and there were a lot of people waiting too!
so at about 6.50 the food came,and at 7 you see everyone starting to eat.haha.(by this time the place was full)
after that we tried to walk to tekka.to find the place.
but in the end we got lost and ended up walking in circles and circles.
but we managed to get there in the end,at almost 9pm.haha!

and something REALLY cool.
we were walking and suddenly there were a lot of noises.
we didn't pay attention to it and i thought it was aeroplanes at first.
when,suddenly everyone of us started to realise what it was(we were around bugis-raffles city)
and-
we stopped and screamed!HAHA.damn funny.
cos we realised it was the found of F1 cars!OMG.so cool!
it's such a different feeling from watching the tv at home,i swear.
it excites your senses.
then after which all our conversation moved on to F1 and F1 drivers.:D

okay so we managed to find the place at last,little india was lit up with deepavali decorations(though it's still very early) and some of them started doing the henna.
i didn't do though.

so that was the end of our post promo celebration.haha.
sort of like a cultural tour for me.:D

during promos,21 Sept Sunday was my sis's birthday.(i haven't bought her any present yet.shit)
so despite promos me,my sis and my bro went for a chinese orchestra concert at Esplanade.
it's by 狮城华乐团. it was supposed to be me,my dad and my sis going to to watch the concert.
but my father backed out last minute because he told me,secretly,that he will let my bro go instead,cos actually my bro wanted to go and he was quite disappointed that we didn't include him.and there were no more tickets.
so he said we should take care of his feelings too,or else he may think that we left him out or something.
see,parents are always self-sacrificial.
he told me not to tell my bro in case he thinks that we purposely did that.
i really hope my brother understands this effort by by father,and hopefully,grow up and be more sensible.
we have no idea how much our parents have done for us.

so the three of us went.it was a great concert,after that we met up with my parents and we had dinner at sushi tei.(the concert ended at 7pm)

Amanda asked me to stop hanging around my tagboard and start blogging.haha.
so here i am.

it's 2 more weeks to Promos and i'm finally starting my revision.
i think the one week holiday won't be enough anyway.

anyway i went for school on teachers day.
it was optional,like up to you to go.cos it was just celebrations.
there was a buffet for all those who turned up.
of course it was for the teachers,but we students who went benefited too. :D
i didn't stay till the end of the celebrations cos we had to go back to fuhua early.
yes i went back to fuhua.
their celebration ended early,bout 10 plus? we went there at bout 9.30
if we went there late we wouldn't be allowed to go into the school.

it's the,erm,second time i'm going back to fuhua as an alumni (still not quite used to that word)
excluding going back to take cert and testi and all that.

it still feels different,like we don't belong to the school anymore.
i miss fuhua quite a lot.
after all,it was a good four years there.
oh man,i miss secondary school life!
we saw quite a few teachers, including miss wong!haha.
i miss her too!she's still exactly the same.
and miss haiza too,she has long hair now,again. still that cute,like forever.
Mr Phor and his usual long-winded speech,no Mdm Oen though! (very surprised)

the best part was,i saw hq.
and i said hi to him.can you believe it.
i-said-hello-to-hq.
omg.
actually i didn't want to,cos he appeared like he didn't acknowledge my presence at first.
after that karseng talked to them and i happened to be beside him,then chien hock saw me and said, "Ay....." (he didn't recognise me until then) so i smiled and said hi.
hq was beside him so since i said hi to ch already there's no reason why i shouldn't say hi to him.so i said,very awkwardly. but he smiled back!
i'm still glad that he treats me as a friend,nevertheless.

after that me and sipei waited for andy,laytheng and huishan to arrive cos they came late.
finally met them after sooo long.
then me and sipei went to join beesuan,huishan and our CO juniors for lunch at the very-missed CU.and ban mian. :D
after lunch we went to jurong point for movie.
they wanted to watch 4bia, a horror movie but obviously i didn't want to watch.
in the end we decided on Death Race. -.-
we didn't even know what was it about. it's a NC16 movie.
so we went in,and bee suan was freaked out cos it was too violent.
(yes it is)
but we were laughing at her cos i was saying how come she dare to watch horror movie don't dare to watch this.

so that was friday,teacher's day.
oh and i was sooo smart that i left my ez-link card in fuhua cos i forgot to collect it back from the security guard.-.-
and i had no idea how i got on the bus to jurong point.
cos i actually tapped my card.and i got pass.

we just got the timetable for our promotional examination.
THREE more weeks to go.
so i guess you won't be seeing me much around here from now till then.
the exam lasts one week btw.

er,Olympics is finally coming to an end soon.
er at least those more exciting/interesting events to me are almost done.

i want to watch rhythmic gymnastics too,if i can.

urgh. haven't been feeling really good today cos something's troubling me but i don't know exactly what it is and why and i don't know how to explain either.
i have no one(or don't know who) to turn to too.

hmm.how do i put this.
let's say,you have friends of entirely different character/personality/habits/culture/behaviour or whatsoever.
i guess it's partly because they are from a different race(not that i'm a racist,pls)
so obviously we have different cultures and stuff.
it's quite hard to adapt or get use to it,
especially since i am the only chinese in the group.

i guess another major part is my own character.
i don't particularly enjoy attention you know.
in fact,as low-profile as possible would be just fine.
but it just happens that you are with a group of friends who are actually,quite loud,not in that sense, of course.

imagine playing heart attack in the middle of the school canteen,
screaming and shouting,and have everyone staring at you,that is not exactly very fun.
for me,at least.
and someone actually said,oui,keep quiet la.
and at this very embarrassing moment someone you least wanted to be seen like this,just has to appear.great.

They are a group of very nice and passionate friends who are really expressive people.
which i think is one very,very different aspect from the Chinese.
they speak,do and act whatever they like and do not care of what others think of them,
which is something,i cannot do.

of course different people have different personalities.
and of course we can't expect every single person to be like you.
that's the reason why we all have to compromise and bear with some things,isn't it?

indian dance

it's been a while.

there's quite a lot of stuff going on this month,as i said before.
and with the promos around the corner too.
breaking dawn's been out for 5 days already,and i'm stll at chapter 3,damn it.
haha.

anyway school today was a total waste of time cos we only went for about 1 hour plus and the whole thing ended.-.-
and,national day doesn't feel like national day at all.
and,we still had to do stupid PW after the celebrations.
so it ended up like a full school day anyway.

uh, and yea, he's gone.

i went to watch an Indian dance competition at SP last Sunday to support my friend.
it felt kind of weird at first cos i'm like the 10 Chinese out of about 200 Indians there.
i was even surpised that there were ten chinese.
but the competition was really really cool.
there were JJC,MI,NJC,RP,NYP,ITE and SIM.
it's a dance competition for institutes.
i think our sch did well,but we didn't make it into the top 3!
NJC got third,but seriously i think we were better.

urgh anyway. it was a great performance. and all the schools dance so well,i mean it,SO WELL. that i will have a headache if i were the judge.

i'm going off to Malaysia early morning tmr,until monday.
so much so for being Singaporean,
going off to Malaysia on National Day

August and September are very very busy months.

It's been more than half a year since life in JC started.
and sometimes i really wonder,
what am i doing?
what am i here for?

there are tests almost everyday almost every week,
leaving us with something to do(study for) everyday,
that sometimes i feel that i'm just passing time,day by day.
without exactly knowing what i'm actually doing.
It's like machines studying non-stop,without a real purpose.

It's kind of tiring sometimes.

okay,school stuff.
our principal has been really mad recently,
i suspect he's going through his though years(the woes of middle age men) or he had been waking up on the wrong side of his bed.
because,he is not in a right state of mind.
ever since the latecoming incident i became very unhappy bout him,
and he had been getting worse after that.

just recently he dissolved our school's basketball team because of no particular reason(he was being unreasonable)
me and my friends were at the canteen witnessing everything,and the victim happned to be my friend's friend.
he was just asking the principal whether he can have his ez-link card back,cos it was confiscated by him the day before.
the principal started throwing his temper because he said he's not supposed to ask him,doesn't he know that he's supposed to get it back from the general office?
that guy obviously didn't know so he asked him right.
and the principal insisted that the guy was being rude to him.
then he saw that the canteen floor was dirty cos there was spilled water/drink.
he ASSUMED it was him who dirtied it,since he was there.
(insane right?)
so without giving him a chance to explain himself,he started scolding him.
he said: go and call the whole basketball team(the guy is from BB and they were having training),including the coach.
majority of the ppl in BB were wearing their secondary school jerseys because their coach ask them to wear sleeveless,but the team doesn't have their own JJ basketball jersey yet.
so the principal thought they were outsiders using our sch's facilities.
he said: you come to my school,use my facility,play basketball,but dirty my canteen.if you don't know how to take care of my facility,get out.
they were all JJ students la pls!
so he said,he will dissolve the team and dismiss the coach,since he doesn't know how to discipline them,and jj doesn't need a BB team which has no discipline.

i swear he is totally insane and unreasonable.
it doesn't make sense at all.

it's an event to raise fund and support the disabled athletes participating in the 2008 Paraolympics held in Beijing.
apparently each round we run,we raise some money.

i watched a proper rugby match today in my school for the first time in my life.
it was J1 vs J2.
the match was soooo cool. rugby match is fun.
but i watched the match during my practice time for CO,
so i felt really guilty bout that.sorry!!
i thought the match will only last for bout half an hour(that's what my friend told me),but i got cheated.
but anyway it was worth watching.

i finally know how rugby works!!
(before this nothing make sense to me because i don't understand what the hell are they doing)

20) my brother has never ever called me 'jiejie' before. he calls me 'small pooh' and my sis 'big pooh' because when we were young there was once when all 3 of us wore winnie the pooh shirt,and he started calling us the names because of that.

what an awesome day it is today.

let me tell you how awesome it is.

i was late for the first time after i went into jjc,
the first time this year.

and so luckily,some very great things happened today.
cos the principal was in a realllllly bad mood today cos he was complained by some student or something like that,to the MOE.
so he was pissed,and he scolded the school early in the morning during assembly.
so me,joy and my other friend we went to school together in the same car.
and we were late for,one minute?
the school gate closed,so we waited outside,while he scolded the school.
they haven't even started singing the national anthem when we reached.

then after that we were let in,and we were supposed to scan our ez-link cards for record.
by right,for first timers,they will only confiscate your ez link and you can collect it back after school.
BUT.
because we were just so lucky,this was not the case.
the principal,in veryyyyy bad mood(i think he PMS)
and because there were a lot of ppl who were late(because it's the first day of the week)
he came shouting at us.
we assembled at the track there,and we were like a free show to the school or something(but by this time the morning assembly is over so the majority of the crowd has dispersed,thank god)
he just shouted and shouted and shouted at us.

it lasted for bout half an hour.
and i don't get the point he is trying to say.
cos he is scolding stuff that is irrelevant,to latecoming.
and he kept insulting us,saying why should we be in jjc if we can't even be punctual.
why are 18 years old and must be scolded like that.(he's the one scolding non-stop)
then he dragged on to religion and shit.(cos that's the thing he was complained about)

after that he said: i will ban you from going to class today.
which means,in door suspension.
so we were sent into this conference room,from 8.30 all the way till 2 pm then we were released.
it was the first time he is doing this,and he doesn't care whether you are 1st timer or 2nd timer or whatsoever,
he doesn't give chance at all,doesn't want any explanation.
he said that those who have tests,too bad,
cos he won't let them go for their tests,and they will get zero.
no retest too.
because this is what we deserve,for being late.
thank god i don't have tests today.

he said,from today onwards he will do this to latecomers.
cos he have had enough already.
he thinks he was too kind.-.-

and the 3 of us,being late for the first time,
happened to come late on such an occasion.
when he happened to introduce this brilliant idea.

that teaches you,when you want to be late,choose a right time.
i.e. when the principal is in a good mood.
and, never be late on the first day of the school week.

and oh my he is only 26!(he looks 30)
didn't realised tennis can be so fun and nice to watch.
it was an extremely exciting match,very very tough fight.
and of course,why is my mum watching?
cos federer is playing,against Nadal.

i watched this japanese romance movie, sky of love. 恋空
i bought the dvd but didn't watch until now.
actually the storyline is very typical but it's still a very nice and touching show.
it's a sad ending,of course.those that will make you cry and cry.

i wish i have such a boyfriend.ahh..

i'm rather free these few days.
it's the first time since the start of jc life i was able to go home SO early.
cos i end at 1 pm on thurs and fri(they changed the timetable)
but last week i wasn't able to go home early cos i have some other stuff after school.
but this week..it's all free!!

the next test coming up is next next week,econs common test.
omg i still can't accept this fact.
it doesn't seem like reality.

er okay,
as expected i failed my H1 Math common test.
only 6 people passed in my class.
the highest was a B.so no one got an A.
argh..
shit,it's 25% okay.

i haven't gotten back my paper yet,we will get it back this friday.
so i don't know the actual mark i only know i failed.
this week is kind of okay cos there's only one test, which is tmr.
chinese lit test.again,as usual every week.

i was walking home just now and i saw my primary school mate,i think it was her,
cos she looked the same and she was talking bout another of my primary school friend.
i wanted to say hi,i was walking behind her,
but she showed no signs of recognising me.-.-
she looked like she don't even know me,
so i didn't dare to say hi.
eh.
i realised quite a lot of my primary school mates don't recognise me anymore.
there's my P6 classmate(P6 is so recent,only 4-5 years back) studying in jj too.
he recongises every other people from my primary school except me,and of course joy.
cos joy looked totally different i swear i wouldn't recognise her if i didn't keep in contact with her over the past few years.

and i was so pissed off this morning cos i tried to put in my contact lense,
but after it went in my eyes felt soooo irritated and it went all red and i started to tear.
so i knew there was something wrong and took it out,
i realised, there's a hole in the middle of the contact lense.
apparently it was melting or something,or it tore apart.
so i opened a brand new one,
the moment i took it out it TORE INTO TWO PIECES.
omg.
so i wasted 2 contact lenses in one day,when they could have lasted me another 2 months.
i swear i will never get that brand anymore.

i had A level H1 Chinese oral yesterday.
it sucked.
er,i could have done better,that's why i'm disappointed.
it wasn't because the question was difficult.

the question was,
do you want to study in local university or overseas?

i said local.
i should have said overseas!
cos there's more things to say.
eh but i said local university and in the end i couldn't even find enough advantages for local uni to support myself.-.-

then the second question was,
what course will you take?

i said media.(was trying very hard to think what is the course called in chinese)
i said 传媒系

so i stammered a lot for the conversation(cos i was nervous and thinking of what to say),and half the time i was crapping.
cos i think i did quite badly for conversation.
reading was fine.

i was the second last person la.
waited from 2 all the way till 4.30 for my turn.
and it lasted less than 5 mins.
and cos i was the second last person i could observe the examiners(2 female teachers who look damn scary),
i noticed that they smile and nod a lot when the people before me are talking.
and when it was my turn,i noticed that they didn't.
they just gave me that straight face with no smile.
so i think i did rather badly.

hey,i'm here for a very quick update of photos for the lit retreat,as i have mentioned earlier.
i have to post now,cos tmr will be one of the very rare days i don't have test,so i'm quite free now, and i won't have time for the rest of the week,i guess.

okay some stuff i wanna rant about before i post the photos.
cos i am soooooo upset today.
as you all should know,if you read my previous post that i was ALREADY very very upset that my fringe turned out to be a disaster.
what more?today had to be soooo screwed up to make things worse.

first i had chinese lit test,which sucked,not because i don't know how to do,but because I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO!!!T.T
i rushed through one whole page when the teacher suddenly said 5 MINS LEFT!
i was like AHHHHHHHHH SHITTTTTTTTT
i left out a whole section of summary which is worth 12 marks.damn it.
right after that,already feeling so depressed,i rush to take my H1 Math common test,
which,i didn't study at all cos i was busy studying my chinese lit test.
2 and half hours straight of test.
my tiny winy brain can't take it you know.
so,math test,was horrible.
i DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO!
the questions are NOT like the ones we have been doing,cos i could do those.
i left bits and pieces of questions out here and there.
it will be a MIRACLE if i pass this,seriously.

IT'S COMMON TEST YOU KNOW.
IT IS WORTH TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT.
my friend said,if you fail a common test,you can forget bout passing that subject.
cos promos won't help.it's only 40%
the rest comes from all these stupid small tests.
I'M SO DEAD.can forget bout passing math.

AND.i just knew today that my chinese A level H1 mother tongue oral examination is on this friday.shit.
the last time i did oral was sec 3.the O level oral.

DAY 1: PLACE, CHANGE AND CONTINUITY
first we went to Singapore River,looked at the very famous Stamford Raffles statue,then we walked down the river to 'experience' the change in the Singapore river over the years,and how significant is the s'pore river to Singapore.
we had a little of history lesson along the way.

whatever bridge this is called.haha.but it's quite pretty!

and our teacher actually fooled us.-.- he told us that we are going IN there for a CHOCOLATE BUFFET.

PART 2(afternoon): FAITH AND IDENTITY
we visited places of worship.

the Sultan Mosque.

it's really interesting inside!

after that we went to the Guan Yin(goddess of mercy) temple at Waterloo Street,
and beside it is the Indian temple Sri Krishnan Temple.interestingly,there were MANY chinese praying outside the Indian temple(probably after they went to the chinese temple beside),because the temple doesn't allow you to go in now,so you can only pray outside.so we didn't get a chance to go in too.
i don't have photos of this 2 temples.

the Maghain Aboth Synagogue,Jewish place of worship(the only one in S'pore,i think)
very interesting place,didn't know s'pore had jewish people.wow.
but it's a pity we didn't get to go in.cos we were split into 2 groups.

my group went to The Cathedral of the Good Sherperd(catholic church).

it's an Organ!so big and amazing and pretty(i have never been to a catholic church before)

after that,returned back to SMU for lectures again.this time by 2 philosophers
,one Irish one British.they accent is so cute and sexy.
eh but philosophers are difficult people.
they ask difficult questions that give you headache.but it was quite fun though.
then we went back to the hostel and prepare for our night entertainment.
they didn't tell us where we were going and what we would be doing,
until we found out ourselves when we reached there.
so everyone guessed that it was at esplanade and we would be watching a play or a performance or something,since this is LIT.
so,a lot of people dressed up,so elaborately,like they were going for a dinner or something.crazy.
(they will regret this decision once they find out where we were going)

THIS PLACE!i will never forget this place,cos this is the place where we and my sis walked all the way to find that stupid shop,for my shirt-my birthday present,but in the end the shop doesn't sell that shirt.

we went there to watch a Singapore movie.
there's a cinema there called Sinema,which shows only locally made movies.
we watched 'talking cock'.
the cinema is soooo cool.
er the movie is....not very intellectual but funny.haha.
more for humour i guess.

after that we went back to our hostel.

hey people,just here for a quick update.
anw school starts tmr.omg.this sucks.
i had been spending my weekend watching shows and videos and reading bout twilight stuff,instead of completing my remaining homework and mugging for the coming tests,after i came back from my literature camp(retreat)which i ought to do for the last few days of holiday.haha.

i'm dead meat i tell you,but i don't care anymore.
why spend the precious remaining 2 days of my pathetic holiday chionging school stuff?
:D

argh i really don't have the mood to go to school.i believe nobody has.haha.
and i don't think i can wake up!shit.

oh and ya,literature retreat from thursday to friday had been fun and enjoyable.
it's a luxurious camp,as described by amanda.hahaha.
but well,we paid 100 bucks for this,of course they have to give us some good stuff.
i dreaded to go for this camp thingy at first,but after the whole thing i changed my mind.
though it took up 2 precious days(which i can do LOTS of stuff),and sacrificed my sleeping time,we learnt quite a lot of stuff,bout Singapore which we never knew.
though we had been living in this country of our own for 17 years.
btw the whole point of this lit camp is to find 'The Singapore Identity'.
cos the main focus of the lit stuff we are studying for this 2 yrs in jc will be based on the theme identity.
so we went to lots of places,including tourist attractions,museums,and SMU for lectures.
oh and we stayed at SMU's hostel at prinsep street,which is so convenient.
so we really walked to everywhere we had to go.
i will update bout details of the camp some other time,when i have all the photos with me.
we took LOTS of photos.very silly ones too.haha.

we were like damn excited bout the hostel.cos it's just too cool.
until we didn't wanna go home.
it really is a luxurious camp.
we slept at 3 am that day and woke up at 6.45am. we played cards and chit-chat through the night. :D
oh and there's only 5 girls taking lit in my class,so the 5 of us ended up sharing one unit,which had 3 rooms,one common toilet,a living room,a kitchen.SO COOL.
it will be a different story if we stayed with strangers or ppl from other classes.

so,though it was tiring,it's a nice experience after all.
and we got to know a little more bout Singapore,and our identity,and look at the city we live in in a different prospective. :)

I FOUND MY IDENTITY TOO!(shall talk more bout this later. :D)

time for bed now,and wish that i will just wake up finding out that this is all just a dream and i don't have to go to school. :)

hi people!
i said there will be a special post me and yixuan will be posting on our blogs.
so here it is.
wondering what it is?
it's our CHILDHOOD PHOTOS.hahaha.
don't laugh k,cos i look like a guy.

she came to my house that day(supposedly to study) but in the end we digged out our old,very old photos and found photos all the way from nursery/kindergarden to primary school.

and the story begins...

if you asked me when did we first know each other and became friends.
it's really hard to answer because,i think we sort of know each other since we were born!haha.
cos,her mama and my mama were friends and we leave in the same block,8 storeys apart.:D
so,she was my very first friend,and very first best friend!

Stage 1:
NURSERY.(from age 3-5)
we were in the same childcare centre in our condo,cashew heights.
the childcare centre is called Delcare.
but after nursery i changed to another kindergarden,bukit panjang methodist church,cos my mum don't work anymore,so there's no need for me to go to a childcare centre anymore.
so from K1-K2 i wasn't in the same school/class as yixuan. :(
but well,we stay in the same block.so i go to her house she come to my house so often,it doesn't make a difference.:D

yes,we got into the bukit panjang pri sch together,obviously,cos it's just beside our house.
we got into the same class in P1 and we were in the same class again in P3.
after that during the later years of primary school we sort of like,drifted apart because we had some misunderstandings and stuff and she moved house,to opp cashew heights(but still along cashew road,haha).
then we went to different secondary schools,and hardly contacted each other.

BUT..
the friendship would not end here of course.
fate brought us together again,and there we are,in the same JC now. :)

ta-ta! it's been 17 years and we are all pretty and grown up now!
no baby fats,no mama-style haircuts(mushroom head,they call it).

i'm very glad that i have such a great friend like her.
those childhood times are memories that i will never forget in my life. :)

okay yixuan,this is for you.
actually i have always wanted to tell you this but i don't know how to.
i wanna say sorry,because thinking back now,i think i was really childish at times(you know what's i'm refering to),i'm really glad that things have return back to normal.i hope you can forget bout those stupid things that happened during that unhappy period.
like i said,the friendship wouldn't just end like that.
i still believe in friends forever.always. :)

cooking my own lunch!

good afternoon(morning people),i just woke up at 1.30 pm!
haven't had enough sleep for the past few days,so i feel great now!:D
well,i slept at 1am yesterday.

i stayed up late because i was sending the PW surveys out on msn.
really big THANKS to all who have helped me!:D
i appreciate it a lot.
but anyway yesterday was like,a total mess because the survey was screwed up.-.-
there were mistakes and loopholes in it,opps.
thank god they told me,so that i could tell my friends before they send them out too.
and so that i could change it.
argh anyway,survey sucks,PW sucks.
we met yesterday afternoon again,i lost track of the number of meetings already.
we are halfway done with out written report(i guess,i hope),but we only have one more week left.
ONE MORE WEEK!
i cannot emphasise enough on the fact that PW sucks,why do we have such a subject.

oh and i'm finally done reading xue shan fei hu.
i'm left with 1 english book,great expectations and one chinese play,茶馆.
i doubt i will be able to finish anyway..
but the book xue shan fei hu is very nice!
if i have the time now i would have continued the book fei hu wai zhuan.it's the continued story of the book.

my parents and my brother are in Malaysia now,they are coming back today.
so i had been at home alone in the day when my sis is working for the past few days.
and i had to settle my lunch myself.
joy came to my house yesterday and i was about to just get over with my lunch with maggie mee,before i went to school for PW.
BUT,she said NO!
she said maggie is so unhealthy,how can you eat this?
i said,well,then what?do i look like i can cook rice?
she said,let's cook ourselves.(it was her lunch too).
i gave her the O.O look,you sure?
so she started digging into my fridge finding stuff to cook.
we tried stir-frying udon.cos my that's how my mum cooks it.
we started cutting(imagine 2 idiots trying to cut the ingredients)
beans,carrot,garlic,onion,egg.(note:no meat)
i didn't want vegetables at all but she said how can you be so unhealthy?
oh yeah and then we started.she cooked and i helped.
JOY IS COOKING.this is a historical moment.
i was quite impressed,though it wasn't really organised,but she can actually cook a decent meal.
and it turned out to be quite nice,though it doesn't look very appetising cos it's all VEGE!-.-

badminton is like,a daily routine in my life now.haha.
i played with my brother,yixuan and her brother.

and interestingly though i have known yixuan for so many years and obviously my bro would have seen her/known her,but he didn't know who yixuan was.-.-

and interestingly too,my brother and her brother manage to click with his brother and they mix around quite well.

i feel so miserable without my phone.
there's something wrong with either starhub or my phone,they still can't figure out the problem yet.
but this is the problem: i can't call/sms/receive calls/sms from my HOUSE only.
the strange thing is,once i step out of the house it's okay.
so my father called starhub and ask,they changed a SIM card for me but it still doesn't work.so we suspect it's the phone's prob.
but when i change the SIM card to other people's phone it works perfectly well.
my father asked me to try putting my sis's SIM card into my phone and see if it works,if it doesn't means it's confirm my phone's prob.
so i tried,and it works!
so in the end,is it the phone?or the SIM?
i'm using my own SIM card in my bro's phone now.i want my LG back.T.T

this morning i went to teck whye primary with yixuan,to do CIP.
mm it's like,tutoring some P6 pupils.
they are so poor thing,they have to come back to school regularly for remedial lessons.
mm the work they do is very different from what my brother is doing(he's also P6)
because sometimes i can't even do my brother's work.-.-
the work they are doing is easier,cos i think these are the weaker students who need extra attention and help.
it's my first time there,and first time tutoring kids.
okay,it's really not easy,though the work is easy but it's the explaining part that is difficult.
and you have to make sure they understand.
much patience is needed,i must say.
but anyway they are a really nice bunch of kids,very active,very friendly.
some very naughty,some very quiet.
it's really a great feeling when you see them taking back their Math tests and smiling at their results because they improved.
some may not even have passed,but they are still happy for even a 1 mark improvement.
yes,they had math test today.so poor thing.and some English work too.
can you believe i'm teaching math.MATHEMATICS.hahaha.

and i actually bothered to sort out my photos in my com today.hahaha.
i just felt like doing it cos i have too many photos and just put them all in my pictures.
feel soooo good after sorting them out!so neat and tidy.:D

this is a special post cos i'm going to blog bout my FISH.my dearest fish.
(cos i have nothing better to do,and i LOVE my fish)

before that,let me have some quick update.
last saturday i went k box with sipei and andy (FINALLY,OMG)
woohoo.it's been 5 and a half months since the last time i went to k box.
see how deprived i am?
but unfortunately i think all 3 of us were a little sick,haha.
flu,cough,sorethroat that sort of stuff.
but it was okay,at least we finally got to sing together!:D
and pls,both of them wore so nice.made me feel so...unglam.

then on sunday,we went out to celebrate huishan's birthday!
saturday was her birthday.
we went to eat yuki and yaki at marina square,i think that's their favourite place now.
the ice cream part is always the best.:D
it's so fun and cute.

that's about the most exciting things that happened that week for me.
yes,my life is boring i know.
i will update the photos some other day. :)

MY FISH!!

my fishes.though i'm pretty bias,i only like the orange one.
because,that stupid angel fish was the one who killed my previous orange fish.so you know why they are in a different tank.
his name is gu-chi.as in,you know.tickling.
don't ask me why i named him that,there's a story behind it.:)

he was here!when my sis just gave me this fish for my birthday present.:D

fate brought us together,to be chosen among soooo many fishes of his kind,to be MY fish!:D

and then he moved house,to a much bigger tank.
(totally ignoring the angel fish)

i sat in front of the tank for bout half an hour trying to take photos of him.
he swims damn fast okay.and he can't stay still!

he's looking for food.he's greedy,i swear.

arghh damn cute!i love his mouth. :D

i'm back from Malaysia!

my parents are going to malaysia again next week.-.-
they ask me wanna go or not.
er most probably not,haha.
gotta finish a lot of stuff and i need that one week to go out!:D

after that nothing much happened,except for PW meetings and all those school stuff.

this is the biggest cup of coffee i had ever drank.i swear.
it's HUGE!!
i ordered wrongly,so in the end i ended up with the largest size coffee in starbucks.
it's like,2 times the size of the tall cup.
i FINISHED it on my own!(cos nobody drinks sweet and cold coffee like me in my family)
my mum and dad shared the cup of latte.
and,i couldn't sleep that night,i wonder why.haha.

i think the flu bug is spreading in my family now.
first it started with me.hehe.
i got in in Malaysia and i had sorethroat and flu.
then after i came back it got worst and i had cough and flu.
then after one day my brother got it too,and he got fever.
now my sis got it too.
sigh,flu.

i think all together our whole family killed a whole forest of trees.haha.

today is AMANDA's birthday. :D
she received her surprise already.hehe.

nothing much happened this week.
except that we had our first PW group meeting for our project during the holidays.
we met at National Library to collect data for our project.
PW sucks,totally.
there's SO much work to do!
had been searching for Oprah Winfrey's stuff these few days because our project is on her.
my life's filled with Oprah Winfrey now.-.-

right after i come back from Malaysia we will be having our next meeting.
see how busy we are?
and shit,i haven't even started on any homework.
my calender is almost filled,with things to do almost everyday.

and i can't stand reading xue shan fei hu!
omg zzz i like chinese books but,it's really quite boring.
maybe it's because i'm still at the beginning of the story,not the climax yet.
but omg i'm already at pg 20 of the book and the main character's FATHER haven't even appeared yet.
i think english books are so much easier to read now.
can i just watch the damn show instead of reading the book?T.T
